The title compound, C18H26N2O 4S, with two virtually identical molecules in the asymmetric unit, is found to adopt a distorted S conformation, with the carbonyl of the benzoyl group facing the opposite direction to the N-H amine bond, which lies in roughly the same direction as the C=S bond of the thiourea. The C-N bond of the thiourea on the acyl side of the molecule is much longer than the corresponding bond on the opposite side. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography All rights reserved.
