dc.description.abstract | ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The construction and functioning of the hydraulic driven towing trolly at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stellenbosch is discussed in detail after which the equivalent non-linear mathematical model is derived from basic principles. It is evident from the theoretical study that the trolly has a first order open loop structure, while the total closed loop system is a second order system. | en_ZA |
