dc.description.abstract | In the letter we present calculations based on experimental radar data which confirm the chaotic nature of sea clutter. In particular, the results of the calculations show that the first Lyapunov exponent of sea clutter is indeed positive and around 0.015. Such a result is an inherent characteristic of a chaotic process. | |
