| dc.description.abstract | ENGLISH ABSTRACT: A systems approach was adopted in overviewing the contributions to the science of agricultural extension based on a selection of 82 published papers and 15 research reports published over a period of some 30 years. Extension science is the body of knowledge which accumulates experience and research fundings with respect to extension; and borrows insights from disciplines and fields of endeavours which seem pertinent to extension. Extension science seeks to help extension professionals improve their effectiveness and efficiency. | en_ZA |
| dc.description.abstract | AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: In hierdie oorsig oor die bydrae wat tot die Landbouvoorligtingswetenskap gelewer is, is 'n sisteemsbenadering gevolg in die hersiening van 'n seleksie van 82 gepubliseerde referate en 15 navorsingsverslae wat orr 'n tydperk van sowat 30 jaar opgestel is. Voorligtingswetenskap is die eenheid van kennis waarin alle ervarings en navorsingsresulatate met betrekking tot voorligting opgeneem en gekombineer word met insigte en perspektiewe geleen vanuit ander dissiplines en strewes wat van waarde blyk te wees in voorligting. Die strewe in die voorligtingswetenskap is om die effektiewiteit en doeltreffendheid van voorligters te verhoog. | af_ZA |
