dc.description.abstract | This briefing describes ways in which the human resource management strategy of the Department of Agriculture: Western Cape can be prioritised in terms of future human resource planning in the face of HIV and AIDS in the agricultural sector; how the acquiring of scarce skills can be planned and retained; and how existing skills can be optimally utilised in order to enhance service delivery within the Department. The research model used is the AIM-B model – taking into account factors such as training and development, recruitment and retention of scarce skills. | en_ZA |
