dc.description.abstract | Private banks no longer only serve bored aristocrats and royalty – the world’s instant millionaires and nouveau riche are also in their sights. For a number of reasons many South Africans are considerably richer than they were a few years ago. Amid fierce competition, private banks have shot up like mushrooms in this country and, though the Swiss model is often emulated, it appears that South Africa is well on its way to developing its own model for private banking. | en_ZA |
