dc.description.abstract	Pregnancy complicated by sever pre-eclampsia remote from term is associated with increased maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. Pre-eclampsia usually improves soon after deliver, but may persist and may cause complications in the puerperium. In deciding how long after delivery the investigations should be continued it is necessary to know how soon after delivery results of the special investigations return to normal.
