    ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The aim of this dissertation is to contribute in solving the problem, due to a lack of knowledge and information, concerning the aerodynamic features of a typical air-cooled heat exchanger (ACHE), numerically and experimentally. Only forced draught ACHE's are considered. The project consists mainly of numerical experimentation, using the general purpose code, PHEONICS.
