It has already produced significant changes within most hospitals, including, cancellation of elective procedures, decreased volume of acute care surgery, and cancellation of lectures and educational conferences to adhere to social distancing recommendations. This article focuses on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on surgical registrars, their education and training and proposes ideas on how to get through this major disruption.
