ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The main objective of this study was to establish biochemical or physiological criteria for predicting relative vegetative vigour of citrus rootstock cultivars. Such criteria would enable the citrus industry to determine at an early stage in the life cycle of a plant where a certain rootstock would fit into the whole range of citrus rootstocks relative to vegetative vigour.
