dc.description.abstractA recently proposed extended Huygens' principle for scattering objects in waveguide is reviewed. This technique allows the coupling of a Finite Element discretization with a quasi Method of Moments (MM) surface element approach. Perfectly conducting posts are considered as test cases. Implementation details are discussed and results for the conducting post are presented. copyright © 2002 IEEE.
