dc.description.abstract | This paper describes the effect of loads in typical multimode and single mode cavities. With the addition of a load inside a multimode cavity, new and modified `modes' are created. For the single mode cavity, the effect of a coaxial lossy load on the resonant frequencies of the TM010 and HE111 modes is investigated. Furthermore, the effect of an eccentric load on the resonant frequency of the TM110 will be studied. | |
