dc.description.abstract	Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC) is a rare condition, which presents various problems to the genetic counsellor. Two cases are described and the possible modes of inheritance are discussed. A review of the literature in this respect favours an autosomal recessive inheritance which is, however, not applicable to all cases.	en
