Abstract
ENGLISH ABSTRACT: This thesis concerns the development of a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) implementation strategy for PLESSEY S.A. by means of the introduction of a Pilot manufacturing cell in the Telecomms assembly area. The improvements effected by the introduction of the pilot cell are evaluated by means of a pre and post pilot audit.
