Abstract
Introduction: Tuberculous abscesses may be resistant to medical treatment and may cause devastating complications. Case report: Such a lesion persisted in a child treated for tuberculous meningitis and resulted in a seizure with prolonged anoxic damage to the brain. The imaging findings are typical and these lesions should be considered for surgical management. © 2009 Springer-Verlag.
