Abstract
A late to post tectonic I-type granite is the principal host of the W-Mo mineralization that constitutes the Riviera deposit. The present spatial position of the Riviera pluton and associated mineralization is the result of an extended period of structural evolution that started with the earliest deformation of the Malmesbury Group. The structural evolution is described. The juxtaposition of domal structures flanked by major lineaments, late tectonic horst blocks, and calcareous metamorphites indicate favourable loci for similar shallow deposits elsewhere in the Saldania Subprovince. -from Authors
