Abstract
A sliding mode control strategy for a three-phase shunt active power filter utilizing a four-leg voltage source inverter is presented. An accurate dynamic system model is developed in the dq0 space, which takes the effect of the neutral inductor into consideration. Based on this newly developed model, the predictive current controller, and three different types of sliding mode current controllers are evaluated through simulation and practical results.
