The beamfoil spectroscopic technique was used to measure the radiative lifetimes of the 3p2p1 20 and 3p2p3 20 energy levels in O IV. Cascading contributions from the 3d2D levels were investigated via transitions around 340 nm. The results are compared with previously published experimental data and with calculated theoretical values. © 1986.
