Abstract
Although the application of solid phase techniques has simplified vitamin D metabolite extraction, care in the use of these cartridges needs to be exercised. It would appear from the results of this study that high pH values or the effect of organic solvents on plastic cartridges or both can be detrimental to analytical results.
