Abstract
A low power instrumentation antenna was developed for used in the anechoic chambers. A prototype with frequency range 500 MHz to 4 GHz was constructed. Measured and simulated results for the antenna agree quite well. However, the low efficiency of the antenna is more than compensated for by the reduced cost from using ordinary printed circuit board as substrate. A free space log periodic dipole array was designed.
