An investigation was undertaken to ascertain the link between sensation seeking as a personality trait and the incidence of injury among rugby players. Four hundred questionnaires were given to the managers of 20 provincial high school rugby teams to be distributed among their players. In addition to demographic and injury information, the questionnaires included Zuckermans Sensation Seeking Scale.
