dc.description.abstractAfter coronary artery disease has been excluded as a cause for unexplained chest pain, oesophageal disease must be considered. Ambulatory pH monitoring reveals abnormal oesophageal acid exposure in 50% of patients with recurrent non-cardiac chest pain.
