Elke persoon leef in ‘n etiese verantwoordelikheid teenoor ander.
H ABSTRACT: This research focuses on trust in relationships and how this lack of trust often influences dialogue. The focus is the relationship between the Dutch Reformed Church (DRC) and the United Reformed Church of Southern Africa (URCSA), at the local level. Despite a search for visible unity and cooperation, there is an inability to truly come together. How do you create trust in relationships where distrust prevents people from seeing each other as subjects and can honestly listen to each other? The investigation is presented in six chapters. The research was undertaken to determine what dialogue, trust and ethical responsibility are, from contextual pastoral counseling and ministry. The research methodology is a literature study. New perspectives are that dialogue is not just an exchange of information between persons, but a quest for justice and justice between individuals. The individuality of the other must be acknowledged. Every person has the right to give and receive righteousness. Trust arises when justly given and received. In symmetrical relationships, the balance of what is given and received is equal. It is an ethical choice to act in such a way that the next generation will benefit from this action. Each person lives in an ethical responsibility towards others. Ethics is understood as a person, a subject, who has a relationship with an o/Other from the beginning. Before one discovers another, the other already counts for him or her. Each person stands in relation to generations of the past, present and future.af_ZA
