Abstract
The authors found that in venous stasis ulceration the cleansing time with Debrisan was 5.4 days, while with the standard treatment 14.3 days were required. They also found that the treatment is more beneficial in long-standing ulcers and in legs which showed severe secondary changes resulting from the venous stasis. The finding in the ischemic group and in the post-traumatic group were equivocal.
