Results revealed that poultry farmers have a low level of satisfaction in terms of availability of finance and market. The results also revealed that poultry farmers are not skilled in some of the poultry production skills. These skills include ability to set the correct room temperature, timely detection of disease, timely detection of stress, setting and maintaining the correct room temperature, timely elimination of stress, timely elimination of disease and ability to categorize mortality caused by feed / nutrition. The study highlights the need for Swaziland to consider engaging itself in a program of exchanging highly qualified experts with neighbouring and advanced countries in order to equip the poultry extension officers and poultry farmers with skills essential to run a modem poultry system.
