Images of the first cats kept on Marion Island as pets. Cats were later deemed a menace, as they became wild, reproduced quickly and preyed on indigenous bids.
Sheep were introduced on Marion Island as a source of fresh meat for the team members. In the second image team members carry a sheep to a place where it is to be slaughtered.
