Abstract
ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The object of this study is to investigate the implementation of the adiabatic pre-cooling of the inlet air on the performance of a finned tube air-cooled heat exchanger. To achieve the desired pre-cooling, a fine water spray is injected into the air stream.
AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: Die doel van hierdie tesis is om die toepassing van adiabatiese voorverkoeling van die inlaat lug op die werkverrigting van 'n gevinde buis lugverkoelde warmteruiler te ondersoek. Die voorverkoeling word bewerkstellig deur die inspuiting van 'n fyn sproei in die inlaat lugstroom.
