Use of double transverse incision in radical block dissection of the neck (Afrikaans)

The use of an incision for block dissection of the glands of the neck, using 2 horizontal limbs, is described. In 73 consecutive neck dissections, 27 of which had previous radiotherapy, no single case of flap necrosis with carotid exposure was encountered.
