Abstract
Transformation matrices that allow conversion between normalized s-parameters in TEz/TMz, TEx/TMx and TEy/TMy format are presented. The transforms are simple to implement and are essential when comparing results expressed in terms of different modal solutions. The use of the matrices is similar to those used for geometric rotations of lines in space, and are easy to implement.
