Abstract
Polyester-supported (poly(aryl ether sulfone) ultra- and microfiltration membranes were evaluated as substrates on which to dynamically form hydrous zirconium (IV) oxide-polyelectrolyte membranes. These substrates were used in both the flat sheet and tubular form. The initial results obtained with a few of these materials were promising. © 1992.
