Abstract
A series of two different copolymers were synthesised. These copolymers were poly(acrylic acid-co-hydroxyethyl acrylate)(C1 to C3) and poly(acrylic acid-co-hydroxyethyl methacrylate)(C4 to C6). Hydrous zirconium (IV) oxide - C1 to C6 membranes were dynamically formed. The effect of varying feed concentration and pH on these membranes, in terms of the copolymer compositions, is reported.
