dc.description.abstractThis study deals with the adaptation of the traditional Ngoni girls’ initiation rite of Cinamwali into Christian Cilangizo in the Women’s Guild in the Reformed Church in Zambia. It highlights the role of the Women’s Guild in transforming the traditional values and structures of Cinamwali into the Christian Cilangizo, with a view to determine which carries Christian values and meaning amongst girls and women in the Reformed Church in Zambia.en_ZA
